2. LEE'S CORNER Greetings, after several weeks of NO Lee Domann Newsletter. How did you survive? Very well, I'm sure. I'd like to say it's been "busy" around here, but we try to stay away from that word. Instead, we like to say, "Our days have been very FULL." Taking that approach seems to help us from getting caught up so much in frantic thinking and behavior. As a wise monk once said (paraphrasing), "When I find I have a lot more to do on any given day, it means that I need to spend that much more time in prayer." Wise guy. Literally. In this issue you'll find three new pictures on the website's photo link. Family (Norma and Willie)plus a shot of my friend Howard Ray (of Howard Gray fame). Next time I may take the challenge thrown out by some of you and include one or more shots of me and Liberace back in 1957. I kid you not. The album project goes slowwwwllllly. Have written a new song I really feel good about called, "It's A Wonder." The jist of it is that, given all that most folks go through, it's a wonder we all do as well as we do in this life. It will definitely be on the new cd. Take care, friends, and keep in touch. We love hearing from you. Lee

3. NORMA'S CORNER Telephone calls, transplanting roses (when the temp is above 50), and trying to stay warm are the tasks for February. Check my link on the web site for a complete list of the stewardship education events I am offering this year. No, it's not just about money! Talk to your pastor, stewardship chair, and others of the leadership team and tell them about my 1) Stewardship Education Seminar, 2) Stewardship 101 and Year Round Stewardship workshop,
3) A Weekend Retreat, and 4) Planning and Leader Development. If none of these suits your needs, I'd be willing to bring Lee along and present our stewardship weekend event: Lee sings during my four-hour workshop; I teach an expanded adult Sunday School class on stewardship and the Bible; and Lee and share worship leadership. All of these are "real deals." Let us hear from you. Norma

4. THE WISDOM OF AN 8TH GRADER When I played in Montebello, CA recently I was given the following by Amber Marshall, the fourteen year-old daughter of United Methodist pastors, Linda and Steve Poteete-Marshall. I think it's terrific and want to share it with you. Thank you, Amber, for giving me permission.

I HAVE A DREAM
I have a dream
that I will grow
up and be someone's
hero. That I can
inspire and create,
and help make this world
a little better.

I have a dream
that we won't have to worry about
global warming when my grandchildren
are born. That they can go to the beach
and see whales splash playfully in the
turquoise water.

I have a dream
that when we look up into the sky, we will
see blue, not orange. That there won't be
huge gaps in the ozone later.

We have many dreams,
but if we don't take action now, your grandchildren
and my grandchildren won't have dreams.

They won't dream;
they will wonder "why didn't they do anything?
Why were they so stubborn?"
If they have dreams, they will be crushed
by these questions.

Rainbows represent hope
so I have put a rainbow because God has hope and
I have hope that my and many others dreams
become real.
