**2. LEE'S CORNER
Here's hoping that all of you had a pleasant and peaceful holiday season.
We're gearing up here in Nashville for another year of writing, touring, and seeing many of you again in person. We are thankful to God for a fulfilling year in 2001. And we are very thankful for each of you, your friendship, and your support in so many ways of us personally and vocationally.
One of the greatest blessings I received last year was in October when I played in Wichita, KS. It was there that I met a new friend, and now co-worker in this ministry, Melody Everhart. She will be working with me and Norma (primarily by e-mail...many times each day!) in the days ahead as we seek both to solidify and expand our endeavors. Melody brings with her many spiritual and professional gifts which is already giving the ministry a tremendous boost.
Please feel free to contact her (as well as me, of course) for information about booking, cd's, etc.
I've asked Melody to introduce herself to you further in her own words, which follows. Welcome aboard, Melody! Put on your seatbelt. As the old Firesign Theater comedy troupe used to say, "We're all bozos on this bus!"
**3. NOTES FROM MELODY
Hello, my name is Melody Everhart. I am by profession a marketing consultant with close to 35 years of sales and marketing experience. I am by choice a United Methodist and huge Lee Domann fan. For a combination of those three reasons I have been selected as his event coordinator. So you will be hearing a lot from me!
I will be writing this column on a regular basis to keep you up on things I think you should or would like to know about Lee's ministry and educational programs. We have a lot of plans and want you to be the first to know.
The first big change is the web site. We thought a new look was in order for the New Year and our new programs. Thanks to Matt Everhart (yes, we are related--he is my oldest son) for a great job on giving us a new look.
I met Lee at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in my hometown of Wichita, KS. I was looking for a faith-based way to use my skills and he was in need of some help organizing tours and "spreading the word." He says it is a "God thing" that we met and can help each other. Just like Lee's songs--that sounds good to me.
So, we are off and running. I look forward to working with you to bring Lee's message of peace and justice to your community. You can reach me online at melody@nvt.net or toll free at 1-800-510-0601. I will be waiting to hear from you!
**4. QUARTERLY QUOTE
"People used to have convictions. Now they have opinions. An opinion never built a Gothic cathedral." -- Heinrich Heine, German poet and critic, 1797-1856
