**2. NOTES FROM MELODY

Lee has asked me to tell you about Education Planning Associates, Inc., with which his ministry is now in special relationship. We are pleased to announce that we will be working with EPAI as a partner in fundraising and event-planning. EPAI is a not-for-profit corporation that specializes in programs to help prepare people for the future by improving their leadership skills. This relationship will allow us to seek funding for our ministry and programs. We are excited about this and hope that you will be, too!

EPAI was created in 1983 under the leadership of Mary Gardner. Mary is an educator, consultant and businesswoman. She designed and marketed her own software, SMARTS, to assist schools in managing their student data and record keeping. Through EPAI, she and several other education professionals created workshops for teachers, administrators, and parents to teach them about technology and its future in education. The workshops were a huge success and laid the groundwork for many of the technology initiatives that are still are in place today.

Mary reactivated EPAI in March of this year because she is still vitally interested in creating workshops and events that provide learning experiences for current and future leaders. In addition to working with Lee, EPAI will create workshops, retreats, events, and provide fundraising services for other educationally based groups and organizations.

EPAI has hired me as a consultant to act as their executive director for the organization. My duties will include coordinating activities with Lee and groups and organizations with similar goals, and create other appropriate educational activities appropriate to the mission. I am proud to have been selected and to be a part of this worthy organization.

EPAI was a logical choice for Lee. He sees so much of what he does as being educational. He points out that Jesus was the Great Teacher. Lee's and EPAI's philosophies and goals are clearly in sync. Thank you for your help and support. If you have any questions or ideas please contact me at 1-800-510-0601 or melody@nvt.net

**3. LEE'S CORNER --

This month I celebrate 19 years in music ministry. Through the years, you who are reading this (and others like you) have literally kept me "on the road" with your encouragement and generosity of all kinds. With the grace of God working through you I hope to be traveling for many twenty-four hours yet to come.

What Melody has described above signals a significant juncture on our path. For the first time we are able to receive your individual gifts as tax-deductible contributions. We hope this will be helpful to you, but we also pray it may open up new avenues for the funding of whatever may be God's "Great Spending Plan" for this ministry, which we are calling Lee Domann Presents...

Here are some of the things we hope may happen as a result:

THE HOWARD GRAY STORY -- This spring I started a new program for public schools based on the song, "Howard Gray." I went into over 30 classrooms in five Kansas communities to talk with kids about my and Howard's experience and theirs. I was met with a response that humbled and educated me. Your contributions can be used to take the Howard Gray Story to schools, drug and alcohol treatment centers, and other facilities that cannot otherwise afford the program, as well as to assist with creating, producing, and marketing materials to promote the program nationwide.

SMALL MEMBERSHIP CHURCHES -- If someone invites me to play I want always to be able to say "yes." I have always tried to honor appearance requests from churches and organizations of varying sizes and financial resources. Your contributions will help me to broaden the reach of this ministry.

SONGBOOK -- For years many of you have said a collection of my songs available in songbook form for both individual and choral presentations would be helpful to your ministry. Your contributions can help make this happen.

NEW ALBUM -- A very important part of this ministry is to make recorded music available to worship attendees/concert goers. It's gratifying to hear so many of you say that you find the music uplifting and helpful in your daily lives. I like to have a new CD available every two to three years in order to make available the music I have written. Each album costs $5,000 to $7,000 to record, duplicate, etc. It is time for me to release another one. As soon as the funds are available, you can be sure I'll be in the studio.

We hope that in addition to receiving individual contributions, some of the churches where I have played will feel moved to include this ministry in their budgets/spending plans for 2003. You are my faith community! And it would be an honor to carry the Good News on your behalf as both individual friends and as communities of faith. We will have more to say about this possibility at a later time.

In the meantime, the phone lines are open! Oops, that sounds too much like a PBS fund-raiser----(smiling here). Let's re-phrase that: Your contributions for any and all of the above can be sent to

Melody Everhart, 325 W. 32nd St. S., Wichita, KS 67317.

Please make check's out to Education Planning Associates, Inc. Designate on your check that it is for LEE DOMANN PRESENTS...

Thank you, dear friends. Remember, this is not a one-man-Lee Domann show. (I refer us all to the song, "Ain't In A Management Position.") This always has been a community of faith effort. I'm proud to be a part of OUR ministry. And I want you to be proud of my part in it.

Peace,
Lee
