Norma Wimberly is a freelance writer, teacher, and consultant in the area of Christian stewardship. For several years she was a Director of the Section on Stewardship of the General Board of Discipleship of The United Methodist Church. Ms. Wimberly is the author of Dare to Be Stewards, Earth Care, Putting God First: The Tithe, and numerous articles for a variety of publications. She was co-editor with Don Joiner of the three-volume Abingdon Guide to Funding Ministry. Norma has been the keynote speaker for many national stewardship gatherings, including the Ecumernical Stewardship Center and the Christian Stewardship Association of the Evangelical Churches in America's Conference 2000.

I. Putting God First: A Four-hour Seminar
A. An introduction to stewardship as a spiritual discipline

This seminar is designed for all members of the congregation, especially the administrative and program teams, worship leaders, and teachers. For a weekend event, a stewardship Bible Study for Sunday school is offered, as well as preaching at worship, if desired.

This all-day seminar is for leadership teams and teachers. An Adult Sunday school time is available, as well as worship preaching and a special consultation with the financial leadership team.
